Sheer Images was started back in the early 1980's within a Bulletin Board System known as "Adults R Us" that changed names and become "The Coral BBS". It started out with one incoming modem and eventually grew to host 16 incoming modems. The Coral BBS used the Major BBS Software system which allowed for content system similar to the Information Services popular at the time such as GEnie, HIS, Qlink (which later evovled to AOL), and CompuServ.

The Corral BBS links up with newsgroups and offered internet email to share information with other Bulletin Board Systems throughout the world. One of it's main sections was the pantyhose fetish area known as "Sheer Images". But once the World Wide Web came along, the life and activities of the BBS dwindled down. In the late 1990s and because of the cost, The Corral BBS closed down but the content continued with a few webpages hosted on some free sites before finally becoming the fully hosted website known as "Sheer Images".

There was a short time when "Sheer Images" had a paid membership area but this too was short lived as the cost for models and maintenence was prohibitive to the pocket book.

Starting with the pantyhose fetish, Sheer Images has grwon to not just the pantyhose fetish, but to includes a wide of fetish areas. The "Sheer Images" web site has not been focused on any particular area for a while but is the backbone of several area of proejcts. Here you will find some areas of specific fetishes such as pantyhose but also information in other fetish areas that are associated with "Sheer Images". Links for these are on the links page.
